Lost & Found

Follow a found item from its photograph and storage location to a recorded collection.

Lost & Found gives housekeeping and front office one record for each item left behind. Its photo and the details of where it was found stay with the item, along with its storage location and collection record, as the team follows it up.

Log the item when it is found

Add a clear description, where the item was found and a photo. The photo is required. A housekeeper can report an item during a room clean, and the standalone form covers items handed in at reception.

Record where it is stored

When you put an item away, open its record and add the storage location. Marking it as stored keeps that location on record so the next person knows where to look. The detail view shows who logged the item, when it was found and its current status.

Find the record when someone asks

Search the Lost & Found list and filter by date, area or status. Check the photo and finding details against the item the guest is asking about. Front office uses this same record when following up on lost property.

Document collection

An authorized person records the collector’s name and adds a photo of their ID. Both are required to confirm the claim form. The form can also record how the collector was identified. Confirmation records collection and return together, including the time and supporting details.

Keep the outcome with the item

A claimed item keeps its collection details and ID photo. If a stored item is disposed of, record the reason and outcome. The status trail shows the next person what happened without making them piece it together from messages.
