Our story
We're Fabio and Anabel, and we run a hotel together. We never planned to build software.
In mid-2025, our maintenance requests lived in a WhatsApp group. A leaking shower in one room, a dead key card in another, all buried under messages about towels, late check-ins, birthday wishes and who was covering the night shift.
A guest mentioned a rattling air conditioner at breakfast. The front desk posted it in the group. Housekeeping saw it and assumed maintenance had too. Two days later, the guest brought it up again, at checkout, with the bill in their hand. Nobody forgot on purpose. The message had scrolled away.
That week, Fabio built a small app for the maintenance team. Every request got a room and someone responsible, and it stayed on the list until it was fixed. Anabel put it in the team's hands the next morning.
Housekeeping wanted in. They needed their rooms in the same place as the repairs. After that, requests kept coming from every corner of the hotel, and each one made the app a little bigger. That's how Concierly happened.
